Why Bet Angel works even if the API doesn't!

Today we witnessed Betfair's API foul up after last nights upgrade. Some time ago we made the conscious decision to allow Bet Angel users to continue to use the site even if the API failed. We did this for a simple reason.

Lots of people use the software for real on a daily basis and are reliant on us providing the best possible service. Therefore, we always think about what could go wrong as well as what could go right. Allowing users to continue to interface to Betfair even with an API failure is the result of some of that work.
