Betfair - Cross matching statement

The Gambling Commission just released a statement relating to Betfair's introduction of the cross matching bot that they implemented back in February. It looks like Betfair got a ticking off as they posted an apology to customers on their web site. The Gambling commission reckons that Betfair made around £300k in the first month of operation. Rebased over a year it looks like Betfair would earn anywhere between an extra £2-4m a year. Make of that, and other changes since then, what you will!
